Scholarship Recipient Benefits
Undergrad ROTC Scholarship Benefits
- Covers Tuition –or- Room and Board
- Tuition Rate- Resident: $4,833/year, Non-Resident: $15,708/year
- Room and Board- Covers up to the flat tuition rate. Room and Board averages: $6590/year
- Book Money- $1200/year
- Monthly Stipend:
- Freshman-$300/month while in school
- Sophomore-$350/month while in school
- Junior-$450/month for 12 months in school/LDAC
- Senior-$500/month while in school
Graduate Student ROTC Scholarship Benefits
- Tuition –or- Room and Board
- Tuition Rate-Resident: $5256/year, Non-Resident: $16,096/year
- Room and Board-Covers up to the flat tuition rate.
- Book Money- $1200/year
- Stipend- 1st year: $450/month for 11 months (LDAC).
- 2nd year: $500/month while in school
Contracted Cadet Non-Scholarship Benefits
- Monthly Stipend:
- Freshman-$300/month while in school
- Sophomore-$350/month while in school
- Junior-$450/month for 12 months in school/LDAC
- Senior-$500/month while in school
Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) Benefits
You can also choose to join the National Guard or Army Reserve and contract into the program as a cadet. As a Reservist or National Guardsman, you may be eligible for Montgomery G.I. Bill benefits and tuition assistance.
Example of benefits for In-State Junior:
- Drill Pay (E-5) - $3192/year
- Tuition Assistance - $4833/year
- ROTC stipend - $4500/year
- G.I. Bill - $3300/year
- G.I. Bill Kicker - $3500/year
- Total - $19,355/year
*Over $58,000 for a 3-year SMP student!!!
Student Loan Repayment Program
- Student loan repayment up to $65,000.
- All contracted cadets are eligible.
